I got my new wheels last week. My pockets are not as deep as some here so I was unable to afford the LM's. For me the next best was the RX. I got BBS RX's in 18x8 all around. I got B S03's and man they handle great. I will post pictures tonight or when it stops raining. No reason to take a picture of such a stunning car with crappy weather in the background.

On a service note I had to get all of the usuals fixed on my car, sun roof motor, fuel sending unit, and mass air flow sensor were all bad!! Also, the pasenger seat had quit moving forward and back. They had to replace the seat rail.

Cool, post pictures as soon as you get them. I'm surprised it is raining there... it stopped here in Asheville yesterday.

The ride is quite a bit more firm than the factory set-up but I love it. The springs were $233 when I ordered them from tirerack about two years ago and the shocks were a little over $300. My dealership in Raleigh NC put the suspension on for me and used the camber re-adjustment bolts in the back. The wheels were $339 a piece and the tires were $171 from tirerack. I did not order them through Luke becuase I can get a dealer discount from tirerack through a friend. It would have been almost $2200 straight to my door from tirerack for the rims and tires but I paid a little over $1900 and had to pick them up in Raleigh.

The nice thing about the other car with the RC's is that the RC is spun forged and my RX's are just cast. Mine will end up bending before the RC's.

Thanks for all the compliments. I have never posted a picture of my car before. I have been around since the days of 'yo daddy' and sphock but had never posted pictures before. Does anyone that remembers kind of miss 'yo daddy'. Some of the dialogue between him and hmrdwn was hilarious.

GBD, I also live out towards Monkey Junction off of River Road. I have seen another black clk right in that area before. Is your car a 55, 430 or 320. Mine is a 320. I wish I had more engine. I do not have any badges on the back, just the 3 point star. I had my factory rims on until about 2 weeks ago but the car has been lowered for about 2 years. Email me at bmac002@hotmail.com and I will try to respond quickly. I would be glad to give you any advice I can on the suspension but I can tell you now that Bob King would not even consider putting it on for you. I take my car back to Raleigh because Bob King won't give me a loaner among other things. I had a conversation with them and they seemed offended that one would even consider changing a MB from stock. I saw a lady in a black CLK 55 cab at arby's on 17th and Shipyard. That is the only 55 I have seen in Wilmington. I do see a couple of 430's and 320's but not many!

Tery, your car looks great as well. My friend has the Ch's on his 1985 Euro BMW M6. I love the look of the LM but could not afford a $900 a piece wheel. The RX looked like the LM so it worked for me. The so 3's are great!!

Tery, never driven on CSC2. Is that the conti-sport contact 2? I had the conti-sport contact on my 17" borrbet's but not the updated version. They were OK but the SO-3's are a new ballgame. The SO-3's are great!!!!!!!!!!!
