I think they look too skinny too. On the CLK, which is a bulky car, they don't appropriate, kind of like the 2002 430's AMG wheels. I like the 2001 and older's AMG wheels more due to their beefier spokes.

The 2 piece AMG 5 spoke SL-look wheels that Ahmed has on his CLK is pretty awesome. The CLK pics thread has tons of pics of that car, plus the silver 430 cabrio also with the same rims.

I also like the 5 spoke rims pictured on the CLK S1 on this site:

http://www.mh-dezent.de/frames/

They look like a cross between the Lorinser and AMG Aero 2s

Those wheels will look better on small Japanese imports. They make the CLK look out-of-proportion. IMO.

I think they're ok, but I think there are way too many cars out there with the 5 spoke look. Everything from Toyotas, Mustangs, BMWs, etc. To common looking.

I think the CLK looks better with something a little more unique. Are those Brabus Monoblock V's you have in your sig?

I think it's too skinny to. I like the Brabus monoblock type VI two pieces. It's beefy and bulky at the same time. Just a perfect wheels for a perfect car. Not many people could afford those rims. Especially ricey car, they couldn't even think about getting one.

Don't forget to consider the weight of the wheels. SSRs weigh 19 lbs each and, for instance, Carlsson LM 2/5s weigh 33 lbs. I prefer the look of the Carlssons, but there's a noticeable performance difference using the SSRs.
