Get rid of the grill w/ the chrome star. I can't believe the popularity of these on this forum. A big chrome star on the grill makes it look like something an Arabian guido would drive. Not feeling the big star...

OOOH! 3 or 4... Guess 4! The stock grill looks sick! No need to showoff the fact that it's a mercedes...they'll figure it out. Make it look awesome!

Here is my opion:
Most none AMG (320,430) have body kit and dis-emblem to make peoble confused. Why they do it? becase they are not AMG
I am not saying all of them do and all of 55s don't so please do not quote me on this
I don't see 55 AMGs take it off at least in my local area. Whenever I see one without the emblem on freeway, I alway assume it's 430 even worse 320.
Mime still has 320 emblem on it even it's not stock

CLKCLK, I think you may be confused. All CLK430's came w/ the AMG bodykit. Not to confuse people, but to give the sport look. I believe all CLK's came with a grill w/ no emblem and a hood ornament star. Hersh's bodykit is aftermarket carlsson (nothing to do w/ a 55) and he has the star grill b/c he likes the star (also nothing to do w/ a 55), so what exactly are you referring to??
If you're talking about the "clk320" badge, I believe that is off topic. We're talking only speaking of 3-star mercedes emblems: whether we like the big star grill emblem or not.

+1..thanks...CLKCLK-no ones referring to debadging the rear...im just talking about the front end for purpose of aesthetics...nothing to do with logos..im just going for what would look best...
seems like #4 is winning on most boards but 2 is really close behind too....hmm...frikin decisions! lol

I was looking at what you want to do and was thinking that if you do this mod your fender will look like a (test tube baby) cross between Lorinser and Carlsson.
With that in mind I would have to say leave it as is.
But if you do do it, it will still be hot. Someone has done it already and it looks good!!!
Maybe these pictures will help you decide which look you want to go with, both are sick.
Take a look at the picture I provided:
#1 Lorinser
#2, #3 Carlsson with the center enforcer bar removed.
It still will look good it's just I would not want to have a bumper that looks like it's cross dressed.
