1998 CLK320 BAS ASR error.
I just received this light and lost my manual. Googled it and found a fix for a ML. Does the CLK have a similar part and does anyone have a part number for it?

hmm that light usually is like a sensor dont quote me though............it comes up spontaneously right.......its like accident skid control or something

Mine did that.

The dealer first replaced the brake switch sensor (behind the brake pedal somewhere below the steering column).

It came back

They replaced the brake booster

then it was fixed.

The part number for a brake light switch for a 2002 CLK430 is 001-545-64-09.

anyone know if the BAS/ESP ECUs are interchangable? I have a 2000 and a yard has a used 99 for cheap price
