"black-out grill" opinions or pictures?
i'm pondering the complete black grill idea. I have a black car so it's been a thought. I know it's not a new idea but i've never seen a black grill on the CLK. anyone have pictures to share?

We just had this discussion in the Performance forum. I think you'll like this option better than blacking it out... Of course, go with black instead of silver.

I'm talking about even painting the chrome black...a full black treatment. mine already comes w/ the black inserts...i've seen them on mbz's before but can't find any pics online as of now.

For black it's looks alot more intimidating. Any other color I think it would look off.

mine's a gunmetal color that's matched to my rims. Pics can be found in my sig. If you're going to change the grill color, it's best to stick with a color theme that runs throughout the car.
