I am trying to sort our some squeaking noises in my car.....
Anyone ever removed the interior motion sensor on the b pillar or the c pillar, I have removed the rear seat and side bolster for left rear passenger seat (left side) and still trying to trace my squeak. I will get someone to drive my car while I am in the back checking.
Any help appreciated. I am taking pics as I go along, if it ever helps someone else.

I think I found it
I have removed the a, b, c pilar on the left (driver's side) and the lower rear panel, and refitted all with new clips, all fit much tighter than before and placed soundproofing tape at touching/rubbing areas. Cured some of the creaking and squeaking noises, but there is still one more which is due to the mouldings for the rear side windows (outside) the black/chrome trim on the outside for the windows. If I squeezed the b pillar, holding the window it made the creaking noise. That is next on my list. If that is held tight, there is virtually no noise except for a little leather rubbing noise. Thank god it is getting quieter in my car.

Gee...$50K spent on a car and you have to pull it all apart and squeeze parts together just to keep it from squeaking. I rode in a new Hyundai Elantra last weekend. Not a sound. And it had a much sturdier rear ashtray than the CLK!

Tell me about it.
I finally found it. It is a clip on the outside holding the windows seal at the top of the b-pillar creating the noise. I know because if you press it it squeaks, also the noise disappear when it is wet and only appears when it is dry.
Hope to sort it out this weekend, then peace and quiet like a Mercedes should be.

Here's a weird one that I had in my CLK. I used to get this buzzing sound from the interior back seat area. Took me months to figure out that the dome light was lightly touching the metal roof above it. A piece of foam around the fixture took care of it.

The ground effects along the bottom side of the car also creak when going up and down a drive way entrance etc. This sound creeps into the cabin and I used to think the noise was emenating from the interior.
