W208 Exchange: Finally getting a 55!
Big news! I sold my silver 99 430 yesterday. I'm buying a black on black 2001 CLK55 and having it shipped to GA Monday. I can't wait! 1 owner vehicle, 42k miles w/ the 100k mile extended warranty.
I'll be putting stock suspension and exhaust back on the 430, and putting the amg wheels from the 55 on it. I'll put my h&r springs and bilstein shocks on the 55...I think they should work out fine. I'm probably gonna see if the eisenmann exhaust from the 430 will fit the 55 without harming performance. Otherwise, I might have an exhaust for sale...
Does anyone have stock rear springs for the 430 coupe, or lowering springs for the 55 for sale? Thanks! I'll get pics up in a week or 2 when everything's situated.

Hahaha, thanks guys! I have a lot of stuff I'd like to do. We'll see what happens. I don't have much $$ to spend now that I've bought the AMG! In good time though...

Looks good especially since it's BLACK haha jk...slam it! I wish I could sell mine so I could pick up a 55 but I just can't seem to part with it since I bought her brand new from the lot and all the mods I've done, I wouldn't get even a fraction! Have fun

yeah i know...ridin donk style now. there's a chance of putting my old suspension back in. my uncle bought the 430, so if he decides it's too low, i'll put stock back in and lower this one that way. but the amg suspension handles so good, i wanna keep all the components. wonder how much drop i can get just with pads...
