Lowering springs installed....Pics

Stock

H&R springs

H&R springs and #1 spring pads

H&R springs, #1 pads, 1 coil cut

Then I said screw it and took the springs out. Who needs springs anyway!

Just kidding. The H&R springs are still in the garage waiting. Since I haven't had time to lower it I decided I'd just Photoshop it for now and have some fun with it.

Yeah, I was bored.

My plan is to run the H&R with #2 pad in front and #3 in rear (if that is the stock one). It seems like the front sits a touch higher than the rear so I want the front to come down a bit more than the rear.

Funny...but honestly the 3rd pic is what you should strive to achieve.

The 3rd pic does look good, but I think I'd have to cut on the coils.

Yeah, especially with the roads around here and all the construction. Probably couldn't even drive around downtown.

I haven't ever messed with springs in these cars yet. Can you run the springs without the pads?

Ya...I am right now. Just make sure that whoever does it for you places the springs perfectly on it's perch.

I am going to do it myself so I'll make sure to do that. I think I'll put it together with the pads first and see how it sits.

You need 225's or 215's like laziejimbo is currently doing for his slammed clk.

I forgot to mention that my fenders are rolled really good and I have 225's.

That's cause your ballin' out of control playa!

lol nah but his fenders are rolled pretty good to ride the way he wants. But the 2nd pic probably would suit you best for the conditions you explained.
