i think the middle car in the last post (black cheese graters and black mesh amg grill) looks sooo sick. very aggressive. looks like it would eat you for lunch!

Yes, this would be a custom job if you have stock HID. These were manufactured for the H7 and H1 bulbs only, so you would need to either get a HID retrofit kit or do a retrofit yourself. CLK MAN has his on the way should be getting them by Monday or Tuesday, then we'll have to wait for him to install them. There is another member humplok who says he has a friend who has them installed already, but he hasn't posted pics.

I have stock HID as well, so I am debating how I want to do this myself as well. The discussion is a little more in depth on the other site by-the-way

Interested in doing this myself. If you have factory HID, where does he ballast go? Sounds like the adapter might work.. how does it impact focus of the projector?

$360 for both projector assemblies, did I read that right?

Here...this should help w/ the focal points b/c you can assure that the bulb is oriented the same way it was in the factory housing. You just have to carefully note which way the bulb sat when you take it out and make sure you fit it into the new projector in that direction and then cut away the black housing to fit the notch on this "adapter"

3rd pic on the first post is the best. The black crap doesn't cut it on that car. Leave it "nice"
