Sick...I know his car must be really quick.

How quick was it in terms of torque pull on the down shift...did it just feel like a fuken hammer on your chest and neck breaking?

I was once taken for a ride in a single turbo Cobra and it was the most insane experience of my life in terms of the feel of pull.

That car is slow! It kept breaking traction at low speeds (below 80) so I couldn't really let him experience a real "hit". It stuck a couple times in second gear when I would just tap the throttle though so maybe he can comment on that. Its not as fast as a properly setup single turbo cobra

Hope you like your new wheels!!!

Okay, I now know my next car is going to be a 55. It just depends if that is going to be a E55 (w211) or a CLK55 (w208) with a s/c. I'm just not a fan of the w209 unless it's a Black Series.

I don't care about the gas prices, I used to drive a Durango. So I was used to paying $80 to fill it up every week.

lol i like how "low speeds" are below 80 lol....
ya it was crazy how it just had so much torque bein sent to the rear wheels causing fishtailing at those "low speeds"...you could see/hear that like 3 times when he tried punchin it in that first vid (notice the camera movement cuz the sudden movement n fishtailing lol).... u can hear it but jus cudnt get traction..it was wet outside too so that didnt help.... but once it caught traction..damn it was OUT lol..

and ya those times when he tapped the throttle n it caught..it jus sent me back in my seat...had my hat on sideway-backwards...sent my head into the headrest n just sent my hat off my head lol...

BlackBenzz, haven't been on here for a while. Why did you sell your wheels? Are you finally upgrading to a 911 or a DB9 like you wanted???

Wussup man? Sold the wheels to go for a new look. Should be done in less than a month hopefully. I dont think I will ever get the money I would want for my car now. I have wayyyy too much money tied up in it. If anything I would sell the CLK430 and get something new in addition to the CLK55

Thanks. I like how the blower does not interfere with that pure AMG V8 bellow...just makes it more urgent, more forceful.

I'm tempted. But first I want to wring out the stock setup to appreciate the difference. I've faxed my registration off for an AMG event later this year and am planning a road trip through a couple of Alpine passes in May
