Big Brake kit
I would like to know if anyone would be interested in a group buy for a big brake kit. I was quoted at roughly $1800 if we have 10 people....just getting a feeler, let me know in the thread
The brand is WP pro or winner power...it is 13.1" discs,6 pot calipers and comes with stainless steel brake lines.

Hmmm, it's tempting. $1,800 against $3,250 for Brembo's and $4,250 for Kleeman's. The price makes you think. Don't they specialize in japanese cars? I'd like to see what the other members say about them. Does anyboby has them now?

One thing about these is that the pad only contacts less then 1/2 of the rotor! That leaves a lot of performance on the table.
Also, although they look nice, one warning is that brakes are the only upgrade that if done wrong will kill you! Don't mess around with brake upgrades, get what you know works and remember that you are trusting your life and your families with what you put on! That is why we sell Brembo, they are the must trusted and reliable brakes in the world!
Just a word of caution!

The company is relatively new, a major company for audi tuning sells there brakes and the 6 pot ones are $3000. http://www.lltek.com/brakes.htm
If a major audi tuner uses them, I believe they are safe.
The site is new, because last week it wasn't even on, so i figure they will update.

I believe shine (forum member) uses them.
I know someone who put it on a WRX and stated he loves it. That is all he said

I don't know... Brembo kit cost $2800, and IMO would be more reliable, since they've been around for a long time with a great track record....
Not to mention it would look better with "Brembo" on the calipers...
And I don't know about anyone else, but I would not feel confortable trusting 70% of my stoping power to a relatively new company with no record...
I would go cheap on my oil filter, but not my brakes...peace of mind...
