Installed New CPS
Also changed the air filters while I had the bonnet up.
She's running fine now...

When it goes bad the car shuts down, in my case during rush hour!
When the engine cools down you might get a restart, which I did and drove it home.
I tapped into the knowledge of the guys on (MB World) and they were right bad CPS.
I bought a new one from AutohausAZ for $57, dealer wanted 126+ tx

"After finding the CPS, this is as easy as it looks."
"Finding the CPS" being the key
Is there ever symptoms that it is going out soon. Lately my car has not started as quickly as it usually does.
Example: In the past, I would turn the key in the ignition for a second and release, lately it sounds like the starter starts up kind of weak, and so I hang on for 1.5 seconds before releasing.
It always turns over, and doesn't struggle to turn over, but it use to be instantaneous. Lately, its just a half a second slower, not noticable by a passenger or anything, just by me.
I think I remember about 3 years ago it didn't turnover once when I quickly cranked the key and released. But, I could be wrong. Does that have to do with the CPS, or is it likely just the battery, spark plugs, air filter, etc.

ok , got word yesterday that the first ignition switch they installed didn't work, so they'll need to order and install another one.

edit: they are replacing the EIS. Not sure what that stands for, but...

I was hoping that it would only be the CPS, but oh well, maybe next time.
