leds in front signals.

Hey guys, i got some led bulbs for my signals. Each bulb has around 21 leds in it, they are 1156. I put two in the back and they work fine but ofcourse it gives the error. But in the front they dont go on, i dont know why? Does anyone know why? The weird thing is that the back ones work but the front ones dont, what could it be? Any help is appreciated. thanks

that's what i've done to other cars. i'm going to do the same for the rear signals and sidemarkers on my 99.

i just spray them lightly with silver spray paint. also, coloring a clear bulb with a blue sharpie can change the light color.

well I managed to put white LEDs in rear signals and side markers, and let me tell you my rear signals are so bright that they almost hurt my eyes LOL. I love my led bulbs, I'm thinking in the front maybe resistors will do the job?

lol, ok here is the thing. The leds wont work for us who bought the projector headlights. THe reason is that the pin that goes on the bulbs adapter is inserted backwards, if you look at the adapter, you will see three pins, one black and two silver, cut off the black one and insert the adapter coming from the cars wire upside down and your bulb will work :-D

oh and you will need resistors for them to blink normally, dont know which resistors yet because i did not put them in right now as well.

Haha Zeek im impressed you figured it out i had 1 guy at a shop trying to figure it out for 3 hours, measuring resistance in ohms, and doing all types of things searching for a 1 ohm resistor for so long, until i brought it to another friend of mine he took a look and noticed the incorrect side the positive and negative charge was on, or something like that but he took it out cut the wire and reversed it, and now there working good since.

hey guys, i got them from ebay. I will post the guys ebay id so that you can buy the exactly same ones. To be honest, they look really nice and are really bright. You will also need resistors so that you get no error and they dont blink too fast. I made all the signals white in my car so that looks hot.
