If you can get the seats folded down in the back, climb though to the trunk and unscrew the latch that locks the trunk down.
I've done this many times.

My experience, play around with the key like 5-10 minutes, trunk will pop up. Don't remeber exactly, but something like, inserting the key, turn it to left or right (don't remember) then push it in.
Good luck!

Jumpstart-cables.
I`m not sure, but don`t you have two conectors in your engine-room, where you are suposed to conect jumpercables? Conect the cables, get power on your car, and open the trunk.
I*m not sure if it will work..but worh a try.

im just afraid of the cables are touching the chassis and could effect the computer, locksmith couldnt even open it up ,,he said best thing to do is to connect it to the positive wire under the hood but the thing is , the car has no battery and the wires could be touching the chassis so that could effect the computer

There is no problem using the jumper in the engine compartment...that's why it's there. Just hook a jumper on, as per owners manual, and your trunk should work OK. After you have it open, it would be a good idea to work on the key lock tumbler. You turn it counterclock wise and then push in. I loosened mine up with WD40. It took about 1 hr for it to penetrate enough to work.

it's hardly for the positive cable to touch the chasis
but if it does, you smell the electric burn
jk
If you really want to make sure, run to homedepot or any auto shop to get a resistor metter device to measure the ohm between the gate (hot wire) to your car body (any nagative port), If it shows infinity then you are safe![naughty](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/naughty.gif)
