ill update with pics as i finish parts...today all i did was the driver side door panel and i think im pretty satisfied with the results....it should all come together later as i finish...
you guys think i should do the door handle (the gray one - NOT the chrome one) in black as well?
PS i know the wood throws it off so im gunna have to do something about that....prob CF sometime later...

Hersh,
Did you buy that paint kit? It looks cool, but what it looks like in person is what counts.
I thought about doing the same but with red on my black interior, but only on the side air bag inserts on the doors and the back side inserts to....I chickened out though cuz I was afraid it would look cheap.

Duplicolor...that's the stuff I was talking about.
I'm afraid of what red will look like over black leather....but you're saying that with really good prep work it should look OK?

If you used that Duplicolor in the can its some great stuff. I used it on my motorcycle seat so I could ride the first weekend after I painted my bike it was supposed to be temporary but ended up looking so good I left it instead of gettng the seat re-done

Damn that looks tight hersh! I wouldn't do the handle, i like how it looks now. You should paint your wood piano gloss black or maybe gold to go with your theme.

Looks good funny how I'm also working on my interior as well on my other car(not the CLK) here's what red paint would look with black. I didn't use duplicolor though, some other brand that specializes in vinyl/leather dye/paint and they also have a color chart to choose from just like a paint shop if your looking for a specific color that you need.
As you can see on the corner of the red where the sunlight hits, it gets a lot brighter.

Hersh everything is turning out nice and smooth. I really like what you've done so far. What color is the headliner? DO you plan on doing that black if its not?

Hersh,
I talked to my local shop and they told me that that stuff will end up peeling once it gets nicked or after maybe 5 - 6 months.
Be careful of stupid people in your car that don't understand what we do and have no respect...kind of like the people that refuse to not put their finger prints all over the car door or windows after you've done your best to keep it tight.
