Resonators? Help!

Resonators? Help!
Hi , I noticed a little something when I stop after a hard drive one of the 2 resonators under the car makes a tinkle noise when reving the engine on park. That only occurs after I floor the car couple time and it gets hot. Could it be a sign of an obstucted resonator? how can I be sure?

It sounds like the cats. The welds holding the center substrate are known to fail. When that happens, they rattle, eventually break up, and clog the exhaust. The fix is to replace the cat because the internal weld can't be repaired cheaply (unless you can cut one open and weld it yourself). Aftermarket cats are the least expensive route. The 5000n series Magnaflow universals are good.

i got the mini cat pyp-cvm13 200cell and you are right there are no sensors underneath i thought about it im gonna try both. dam my car sounds like tin cans are shaking underneath it.

mine it weird it the rattle sound only occurs when its crazy hot. When I drive slowly for a couple days the cat seems to be obstructed and the car shakes and looses power , then I dirve it at high rpm and the shaking goes away for couple days

Resonators
There are two ceramic resonators that become cracked over time. If you go to the Benz dealer it will cost you 2K to fix. If you go to a regular muffler shop, they can get oem fitment and splice weld them right into place for less than half of dealership costs. I had it done and they work great. The rattle is annoying!

There are four cats on the car and the o2 sensors are before/after the first pair of cats. The 2nd pair that is being discussed, could be removed without triggering any check engine lights and probably would increase performance.
But keep in mind that it is not legal to remove these items.

remove them and get free flow ones job done open some of your engines performance and watch the power i have always wanted to replace these with at least 200cell ones.
