MY CLK430 REVS PAST 4,000 RPM IN P AND N
Ok and so i decided to rev my car in park and in neutral my clk430 just suddenly revved passed 4,000 rpm in park and in neutral before it only revved up to 4,000rpm is this normal.

thats weird...the only time mine did that was when i had the BAS/ESp warning lights on the dash...

possibly..or mayb jus time for new brakes..or for me, it was jus because i had the spare on with my 19s n the sensors were going crazy cuz the different size wheels...

Put a star diagnosis on it or a generic code reader and let us know what it says. I'm willing to bet its 2 things. Air mass sensor or the Throttle positioning sensor.

I did put it on the computer and it was the left rear abs sensor?

My CLK430 Covertible 2001 was giving me acceleration flat spots, gear changing problems, especially when accelerating hard. Since spraying every single electrical connection, and everywhere else under the bonnet with WD40, it now goes, and sounds like a rocket. Anyone have any ideas why? It seems too good to be true!

hi guys! this is my first time on this forum, because the dutch benz forum in holland are complete crap!!! i want to ask my question over here!!!

my clk430 doesnt make more than 4000 rpm in neutral and in p position is that normal??? or is there something wrong?????
