Source for body parts? Hood etc???
A truck hit-n-run, trashed my hood, drivers fender, grille, bumper etc. Where can I buy these? New or used is fine, used w/ same metallic red even better! I saw a couple places online for more common body styles, but it seems Benz body parts are rare, and no 208 stuff at all... I'm in San Diego CA USA.
Bodyshop told me 8K+ to fix and they were rude to boot. They wouldn't tell me their parts source either... Jerks took my car apart for the est and would'nt put it back together! I had to pay to flat tow it home and reassemble it myself!

Thanx for the re: guys...
car-parts dot com had a couple things, but jeeze, $350 for a used fender? The other places I saw sold C-class etc fenders for $150 brand new. C-class all over the place, CLK nadda....
Yes, I did file a claim. They paid me, but not nearly enough to have the jerk-off shop fix it, and the next shop wanted even more. I'd rather fix it myself anyway, it's just bolt-on stuff. I figure $500-1k for all the parts, and takes about an hour to put it together. If it needs paint that's a whole diff story. It's this really cool metallic maroon/red and probably impossible to make it look right. (At least for me).
I'm tempted to take it to Mexico, but I'm not sure if the parts are fixable, I can't imagine they could make the hood look straight again...
Anyone else have sources for these parts?

Join the Mercedes-Benz Club of America (MBCA), go to the parts department of your local dealer, and tell them you want to buy parts at the MBCA discount.

I'm sure some items are excluded, but I haven't come across them yet. I don't whether it's a percentage. Many parts have a much lower percentage than others.
Also, there's a discount on service.
