I love everything about this car, except those taillights, and the fact that they are getting ride of the CLK nameplate. Looks like my next car will either be an A5 or this new E350 coupe....
I wonder why they bothered to doscontinue the CLK and reinstate the E-Class coupe. Perhaps to charge more??

Better looking than current CL, CLK, E but not C-series. They seem to be bringing back the classic look with the long front and short back. I just think this new lineup is overdone....

I also LOVE the new "retro 80's" boxy interiors. So different and so much better than the BMW interiors! Mercedes styling always tends to grow on me with time... so if I love it already it HAS to be good....

So is does it ride on the longer E-class frame rather than the C-class? I'm not a fan of the sail panel / quarter glass area...it looks droopy to me. Other than that I think it looks okay.

I second that. Altho it does take some shapes from the new C-class. Our CLK's are built on the C-class frame so it looks like MB is going large again much like they did with the previous E coupes from the late 80's and early 90's. Hate to say it but the front looks Chrysler-ish........... which isnt my kind of car
