Anyone remove the rear emblems on their CLK?

Is the rear STAR bolted-on or glue'd on?

I am contemplating removing all my emblems...

Pics of the rear w/no Emblems or debadge'd would be awesome!

I believe when you take off the star it has two holes for centering so may need to be filled

You are correct about the star..there are 2 holes there so I suggest that you debadge all except for the star or you will have to have the trunk holes filled and then repaint the whole trunk again. NOT WORTH THE TROUBLE I THINK.

Yes, there are infact two holes behind the emblem. I just covered the holes and put a Lorinser badge over it. Worked great!

Are you talking about the star or your CLK Emblems?? Mine was just repainted and I saw the holes in the STAR emblem area..the other badges were just glued on.
