SLK pedals on CLK
i remember from reading back awhile ago someone from this form said he put SLK pedals on to his CLK and said he got all 3 pedals for $35. Today i called the dealer and they quoted me like almost $55 and said that the pedals were from a C class not a SLK...weird... I was wondering how could of the price of gotten so high? is it simple to put on to the CLK?
thanks

$35 was the wholesale price I was lucky enough to get. $55 sounds like full retail. Shop around including on the net for Mercedes parts. Do a search for the thread and the part numbers are listed. Very easy to install.

Daveskee,
i was wondering if you could get me the phone number to the dealer you called to get the pedals from for $35. $55 is way to much money to be spent on something you're stepping on....
Thanks

I bought the car used and the steering wheel was already in the car so I can't help you much with that. The car also came with a burlwood shifter, a burlwood ashtray cover and burlwood storage box for the rear center seat divider. Wish I knew where they were available from. As a package they make the interior quite distinctive.
I bought the pedals from the Pleasanton dealership (925) 463-2525. Just for info, I received different prices from every dealership when I inquired about the pedals. May be hit or miss.
Good luck!

Check this link for a thead re: Zimmerman rotors.

$116 for the fronts and $110 for the rears. Very affordable. My source is in the thread and in my webpage. So far I like them. Only thing different I would do is have them Cad plated. I painted the hats and edges with clearcoat engine paint instead. Be aware too you will get a whiring noise from the drilled holes as you brake, which I didn't expect.
Here are the part numbers for the pedals which will fit a CLK:
Accelerator pad # 170 300 00 04
Brake pad # 170 290 01 82
Parking brake pad # 230 430 00 84
They are metal faces with rubber backing. Go on just like the stock pedal pads. Very easy.

Your welcome Peter!
GBD, Those are the ones! The former owner must have gotten the steering wheel, shift knob and interior rear woodkit all from Performance Products. I actually haven't seen them in any other CLKs. Anyone else have them?
