SO I BOUGHT MY CLK WITH NO FRONT PLATES AND THE ***** *** COPS KEEP COMING BY HOUSE AND PUTTING TICKETS FOR NO FRONT PLATES WHILE THE CAR IS PARKED! DAMM ITS ANNOYING NOW I GOTTA PUT HOLES IN MY FRONT BUMPER AND ORDER A PLATE, IM UP TO 7 TICKETS WITH 3 I GOTTA GET SIGNED OFF RIGHT NOW.

I have an extra mount if you want to buy it. It's white, and my car is black. I used the white one to take care of my tickets untill I found a black one to match my car. Anyway, if you are interested, just send me a PM.

i doubt you have to pay all of them...just the first as long as you didn't go over the 2 months or so to get a cop sign off the ticket.

how'd you get your other tickets signed off?

if you need them signed off, go the the nearest CHP office, they will do it for free or a single charge to sign them all off (dont remember), found out when I went to have my license plate signed off, and they got me for the tint and the a blown head light, so the local cop at the court house told me that they charge for each sign off, so that added up quick on top of the processing fee. hope that helps

I don't think it's $10 anymore, I believe they raised the prices to $25.

I'm also from SF & used to get tickets all the time about my front plate.
Unfortunately, I had to put on my front plate bracket and stick on my front license plate.

IIRC from my 2 plate citations (vc2505?lol), i think it's $25 if you pay the bail instead of having the ticket signed off.

Weird, I just recently got a front plate citation on my dealership car w221.
My dealer plates were visible too. With dealer plates, you don't have to have front plates. Citation showed up as $100, but becomes $25 if I want to put on a front plate!

thats crazy man!
here in toronto they cant ticket a parked car for anything other than a parking infraction. you can have a car with no windshield as long as its not moving its all good. what if you were waiting to have it towed or something, why does a car "have to be plated" or even registered
