2001 CLK 430
SO3 Tires Sizes
What is the maximun size Bridsgestone SO3 that I can use on AMG Monoblock II 19x8.5 and 19x9.5. Im planning to roll the fenders and lower with H&R springs. If I can't use SO3, which other brand of tires would you recommend?

235/35/19 265/30/19

Bridgestone doesn't make the S03 in a 235/35/19. I would suggest going with a Toyo T1s.

The Toyo's are just as good as the SO3's. I would much rather substitute the S03's for another tire, than choose a smaller wheel size just to be able to use S03's.

Don't the toyo's blow out on potholes very easy? More so than the MPS A/S or the s03's?

I've never heard of it happening. If you hit a pothole hard enough to blow a tire, my guess is that it doesn't matter what tire you have...

You obviously havent been to NY recently, it doesnt matter what speed you are going for a pothole to bite u in yur ***. But i used to have toyo's on my clk and had 7 flats(blow outs) within like 6 months.

Isn't the Pilot Sport Cup an R-compound tire? I wouldn't recommend using r-compound tires for everyday street use.... however, for track use I have heard good things

Yes, the Pilot Sport Cup tire is a R compound tire. You should be able to get this from Tirerack.
