I just got an email from him yesterday. He will be coming to LA between late april and early May.

Anybody in LA or SF area wants to install the COMAND system. I live in seattle but I probably would drive down there.

I will at least be in california (LA area and bay area) and Texas to do some comand installs during the last 2 weeks of april and first of may...I also might get to the NY area, but I am not sure whether I make that yet.

I have new and used euro comands for the W208 - W210...and used euro comands for the 163...and used plus new US somands for the W203 and W209...mail me when interested .

NY area
If you don't make it to the NY area... would you sell a unit for the 208?

How much are they?

Thanks!

Viewing First Hand a Steve installed COMAND
Is there anyone in the LA/Orange County area that has a COMAND from Steve in your CLK? I wanted to check out a unit first hand.

Anyone in LA/Orange County area with a CLK COMAND willing to meet up for me to take a peek? I"ve never had a chance to play with it yet.

Thanks in Advance,
John

last time I was there I installed 3 208 comands on a Friday...2 convertibles and 1 coupe...perform a "comand" search in this 208 section and you should at least find 2 of the 3.

The last 2 weeks of april and first week of may are scheduled for the bay area and LA after which I will go to Texas as well (either Houston, Austin or Dallas).
NY/NJ area and possible other east coast cities are scheduled for week 3 and 4 in May.

I already started crating parts for these 2 trips...so when/if interested: get in contact ASAP.

greetingz,
Hey Steve,
Be sure to call when you are back in LA. I see you have 3 weeks set aside for California. Are those dates fairly firm? I'll see if there are any interesting events. Too bad you are not going to be here on 4/6, there's a "Drift" event. It's sponsored by one of my buddy's and we would invite you for sure. Let me know if you are missing my contact info. I'm currently scheduled for a business trip to Florida during your 3 weeks in CA but my travel plans often change.
