I sold the car to a private party. BMW dealer only wanted to buy it for $25000 and Carmax offered me $32000. Anyway, there is no mark up for my M3.

In mid-January, got my 2001 CLK 320 Black\Charcoal, K3, K4, CD Changer with 20,660 miles in CT for 35,500... (Dealership)
Had choice of a 2001 CLK 320 Black Opal\Ash, K3, K4 no CD with 29,000 miles for same price... here in RI at another dealership
naturally .... took a ride to CT and got the black one with the 10,000 fewer miles.
So IF I wanted to sell my CLK, that's a big IF, how much do you think I could get for it????

The good thing of selling your car to a dealership is that you can save on the tax. If you want to buy another car, still save the tax and you want to sell your car to a private seller, you have to sell your car to a wholeseller and then pay around $500 for the fee, then you only need to pay
(the price for a new car - the price you sell your car) + tax
