New interior wrap pics
So I decided to cover my wood. It was just getting old and not very exciting. I decided to DIY a matte carbon fiber wrap. I think it turned out great.
I now need to remove the door panels but I'm hesitant because of past experience with my Lexus ( Broke clips couldn't get back on ect).
Snapped a few photos for you guys, coming from a guy who never really liked carbon fiber, I love the new look.![Smokin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smokin.gif)

congrats on getting the ashtray door off.
the interior looks nice!
I just wrapped the Dash Bow and the bezel around the Double DIN.
I went with a different shifter (in Real CF) and converted most of the wood from BrownBurlwood to BirdsEye Maple.

The door panels aren't too hard to remove, the seat switches are a pain to get off!
cheers

No still contemplating the armrest I did see yours and it looks good just dont know about the wear and tear. My dog like to post up on it sometimes although its not often he gets to ride.
That's the best part I did the whole job for less than $40
Yeah I did it alone unless you count Jack Daniels, he was a big help while I was sweating my ***** off in my garage. It really isn't too complicated, the materiel i bought is pretty thin and easy to work with.
Thanks for all the kind words guys.

If I did it again I would have used a dremel and made some button/switch holes wider before wrapping them so that its not such a tight fit putting them back in.
If anyone has any questions just ask, oh and I covered up my birds eye maple, I just wasn't feeling it anymore but to each his own.

MBWorld Fanatic!
Destron's Garage supplied the materials. Destron's Garage and Gundo were kind enough to detail the carbon fiber makeover here.
