Question Cracked wheel, need replacement

Hey all,

I have a CLK 430 and have been losing tire pressure in the front driver's side tire for a couple weeks. I took the car to Discount Tires and they said my wheel is cracked and needs to be replaced. The rep said that I might look into getting a used wheel instead of buying one new.

What's a fair price for a used or new wheel and any idea where I can find an OEM part? Thanks all.

I cracked my drivers side front also so I have three wheels left from my OEM chrome amg's. if you'd like the one front I have left, you can message me. I'm not sure what a fair price is tho..?

I might be interested in one of your wheels. I'm in Southern California. Where are you?

Had the same problem (e.g. pot hole damage).

Found lots of MB wheels locally on Craigs list, but just had it welded for $75.

Found at least 3 shops here in Boston that specialize in repairing wheels

I'm going to attempt to get the wheel welded. If that doesnt work, we may be able to do some business.

I had a small crack in my drivers side front amg rim and my tire would go flat about once a week. My shop found a crack in my rim and suggested that I buy a new or used rim.

I work at a dealership and had a friend fix it for me about half a year ago and I haven't lost tire pressure since!

Update: Paid $100 and had a local place weld the wheel. So far so good ;-)
