Question Amazing fog light for a 2000 CLK430

One of my stock fog lights is having a problem. it doesnt go on and its not the bulb. It has to be some wiring somewhere.

Im seriously considering replacing them with some cool looking aftermarket ones.

This is where you guys come in.

3 questions.

#1 are there aftermarket lights I can get that will still operate via my factory headlight/fog light switch?

#2 is there a way so I do not get a "lamp malfunction" everytime I turn on my after martket fog lights?

and finally...!

#3 can someone please recommend some cool looking ones that meet the previous two criteria?

Thanks!!

There aren't any aftermarket foglight alternatives for those with the AMG bumper.

Rather than replacing them for some after market item that will not fit correctly and cost $$...trace back the wiring to see where there is a fault. You will then have the correct fogs and not have to worry about malfunction messages etc...
If you can't do it yourself, have someone do it for you. I'm sure that would be cheaper than new lights. If there is an electrical problem, that would have to be corrected before you get the after market lights to work.

The fact that my one fog light wont light is my excuse to replace them. I want something more HID ..maybe halo.

something that looks sharp, but not overly flashy.
