Magnaflow Exhaust..

Got a buddy who has a Magnaflow dual-tip muffler that came off of a 7-series Beamer..pretty much brand new. Anyone ever heard/own one of these on a 430? Just wondering how it sounds/performs..he's giving it to me for free.. And if you know if it will just be a straight cut and weld?...my current exhaust is stock..Thanks

The OP may be asking about a single left side muffler with two tips. If he is, then it may not be hard to install. Sound is a personal preference and I have no idea how worn out the used muffler is. Simply changing the muffler does nothing for performance.

There are a few 209 members that whent straight pipe, I believe all of them changed back to using a resonator or a muffler - the constant drone gets old fast.

Talking Magnaflow

I changed my tailipe to the Magnaflow it's going on 2 yrs. and sounds great. A little louder in the cabin then I would have excepted, but a V8 gotta breathe.
