lost clk :(
This was my first car, absolutely loved it...had it for 6 months..unfortunataly it caught fire....fire department said it was some electrical short that started it..didnt have anything done to the car, but had problems with lamps burning out frequently(every 3 weeks or so) thought it was normal....here is a before and after
and btw, not likely that this is a clk problem, but just bad luck and the right conditions for a fire to start, but if you at one point constantly get "Lamp Defective" and the message keeps reappearing immediatly after you dismiss it, just be careful haha

Sorry merclk320 !! I hope you had full cover insurance !! I guess your problem was that electrical wires (+) making contact with (-)ground wirings .Mercedes benz make's their vehicles recycleable and the wiring's harness cover's are made biodegradable. The plastic deteriorates over time from the heat of the engine and disentegrates causing major electrical problems. When I change my headlights assembly to projectors I notice some wires insulator cover cracked and peeling off I had to add electrical tape to protect bare wires so it won't make contact to prevent problems !!Good luck finding your new benz product !

Go for something completely different. You're too young to keep replacing the same thing and staying static. And don't put on a EU/D license plate on it, especially if the format makes it look even more fake.
