Sprint booster installed!

WOW! i just installed the 1st Gen Sprint booster on my CLK55 and woah! what a difference... no lag what so ever!
it might be a bit to touchy for my CLK55, i bought the non AMG Sprint booster and might need to sell it or swap with someone that has the AMG version

im going to give it a few days and see if i can get use to it but it sure does make me smile for now

99CLK320,
the newest version that I bought has two settings. I just turned mine down to green from red. Too tempting. Not driving nearly as fast now. I think its a good thing.

99CLK320,
don't have any experience in a 55 but you might try to contact Gizzo on this forum. I think he just bought one as well, but which version I don't know. OMG! a 55 wth a sprintbooster must be a bit touchy and hard to handle.

I had gen1 but it was the AMG version. I have since upgraded to the gen2 sprintbooster, and it is exactly the same in green mode... but i was curious what a non-AMG sprint booster feels like.
Gen2 in red is like Non-AMG setting and personally yes its too much throttle amplification! Its a challenge to accelerate smoothly, I feel like i've lost too much throttle control. Some ppl like it, it is fun and out of control.
You really outta just try both and get gen2

99CLK320,
$329.99 plus shipping. http://www.sprintboostersales.com/de...***&engine=Gas or Diesel I have a chip tune by INMotionusa, a cold air intake by vipclk of this forum and short tube headers by ghostrider also of this forum and I think my little 320 runs night and day better than it did oem. The only thing I have yet to do, if they still make them, is an underdrive pulley kit from Evosport. I question whether this last mod will really be worth the investment.

Sprint Booster For CLK55 AMG

It is unclear if there is a version for the CLK55s and non? I visited the website- http://www.sprintboostersales.com/de...%20or%20Diesel but there are two models and neither speaks of Gen 2 or which is for the AMG version. Also, it lists one model for an automatic? Can someone who has a W208 CLK55 AMG direct me to the right product.

It is unclear. If its switchable its Gen2 which looks like its pictured there, also universal if gen2 would fit both non-AMG and AMG model. It looks like the right one but still unclear.
Heres the correct per part# http://www.sprintboosterusa.com/c-131-at.aspx the one i have for my CLK55.

Ashutt btw does your K40 freakout near new S classes and most new upscale euro cars. Its probably blind spot detection radar tripping it is kinda annoying..."ahh get away from me S class"
Also what trunk spoiler ya got there?
