Let me know what you think, I love a few of these shots, I get better with my camera every time, haha. Constructive criticism is always good, I know I need to touch up a few spots, But I mainly did this to show off my projectors, which I cant get over, they look so damn good! Enjoy!

I'm actually a big proponent of keeping the standing star...I think it's just really classy and truly an MB tradition. Yeah, yeah...208 was the only coupe to ever get the standing star but I don't think I will ever take mine off. Plus, we all know going down the freeway you use them as crosshairs for your James Bond-esque installed rocket launchers

Criticisms:

- def get your grille repainted or Plastidipped -- really detracts from what would be an otherwise pretty clean front (what's that red thing in the lower screen anyways?)
- replace the front impact strip (looks pretty mangled - and it's a cheap part from parts.com)
- detail your exhaust tip with some metal polish
- not really a fan of the roof racks but to each their own
- change out the yellow blinker bulbs in the headlights to chrome stealth bulbs or at least clear bulbs

Other than that, the projectors came out very nicely. Car is very clean overall too.

Thanks for the remarks, clear bulbs are on the way for headlights, and I plan on getting the front end painted sometime in the near future. what is this plastidip you are referring to? More durable than normal paint im guessing to protect from rock chips and what not?

They are OEM roof racks, its the only way you can purchase them, I ordered them through my dealership here in SD, and not a single dealership in the US had a set of them in stock, they were special ordered from the factory in Germany and I was told there was only about 50 sets left in the factory and after those ran out that was it, so kinda cool to have one of the sets, They were not cheap tho $400, just for the bars, but I love being able to put my bike and surfboard up there, and you NEVER see a clk with a roof rack, very unique!

I do want to order a flat hood emblem, because I have my high mileage badge as well, I think its a little much to have both, but I will keep my original in case I ever wanted to switch back.

Hey, whom did you purchase the lenses from, and did you opt for the included HID converters? I want to make the switch myself. Yours look absolutely great!

I bought them on Ebay from x3racing, I am very happy with them, and I did not opt for the included HID, i already had my HID bulbs in my original lights, so I just switched them out, very easy, I did the install by my self, no help, in about 3 hours. worth every penny for the projectors.

Projector install

Any chance you did a writeup and pictures on how you you switched out the hids for originals into the aftermarket ones? This would be extremely helpful to others!

No I did not do a write-up, I know very selfish of me, but it was very basic, you just need to cut a small whole in the rubber housing so you can run the wires from the bulb to the ballast which is mounted behind headlights in different spots on each side, Its completely up to you, where you put the ballasts, but to be honest, it was super basic and anyone can do it. Just be patient and do good solid work, remember it is your OWN car! hahaaa
