I really like the stock looking appearance, but the disclaimer in the description and the Hong Kong seller has me skeptical . . .

That thing looks pretty sweet; like a new command fitted for the older cars. I would be interested if there was a way to check one out first. Anyone have a video of the interface & menu system?

that's what I'm wondering! Even a review of the product would be helpful. Those photoshopped screen images look suspect.
I will add that there is a guy on amazon selling similar units made to fit other manufacturer models.
If you look on ebay they have these units to fit damn near every MB chassis platform. I really want one!
Somebody buy it first and tell us what u think!!! lol

There's a company called dynavin that makes oem looking aftermarket nav systems for bmw, merc, and audi. I had one in an old e39 5 series bmw; the hardware was great, looked stock, but the software was not very intuitive or user friendly. Id be more concerned about functionality than how it looks.

I just contacted the guy who sold me the unit I had in my BMW. I'm not sure if he sells these units for Mercedes as well, but I figured it would be easier to get in touch with him in CA, then someone in China. I'll let you know what I find out.

I just heard back from the guy who sold me the Dynavin that went in my BMW, and he seems to think that Dynavin does not make a unit for the W208. I am still waiting to hear back from Dynavin, and will let you know what I find.

Ok, I'm curious to know because the form factor seems strikingly similar. I'm really anxious to get one if they do. I know I could get an Alpine or Pioneer for half the money but, I really prefer OEM looking devices!

Dynavin emailed me back to let me know they don't have a unit for the w208. If you look at the unit closely, I think the shape is too round to fit into a w208 dash. Ah well, more money for wheels I guess.
