Whats up guys?i just got a set of these 2 piece wheels and the lips are peeling and i wanna order new lip inserts.is it possible to just order the lips or should i just get them powdercoated silver like my car?

i just noticed that the lips dont come off.its the center piece of the rim itself thta does.anybody know if i can just take the bolts from the back off with a socket or will i need the 8 point key to hold the front part of the bolt in place.ive never had 2 piece rims before so bare with me lol

My opinion is yes !! Also I bet the the chrome won't last long once you redip then it will peel/flake withing 2 years its going to be a waste of ur money ! I seen so many people in my area that get the wheels redip and it never as good as from a good quality wheel manufacture at the factory ! Your best bet is to buy new set of wheel from a quality wheel company and try to get some kind of warranty from them !! good luck bro !!

Yeah your right jbenz.all that has crossed my mind.I tech only need to redip the lips cuz the rim itself is in perfect condition.maybe ill just stick to dipping the lips which he said he can do.even if I decide to pay the $1500 to get the whole thing dipped I only paid $100 for them and I see they are worth way more then that.who knows what ill do.I have 3 sets of rims and im about to purchase another set lol.
