Well from the description, it sounds like my dream 55, white with the factory blue tint, and the designo interior, WOW! If only I had an extra $15-20k I would pick it right up! I want to see pics.

99CLK320,
I looked at NADA and it quoted just under $15K. I've sent two pms to the guy but haven't heard back yet. Sounds like he is fortunate enough to have a whole stable of cars and the 55 doesn't get much attention. My dream car too but I can live with my 320 or live without my wife. LOL!

About five years ago there was a thread about CLK pricing. I feel the same way now as when I posted back then. Bottom price on a well kept 55 should be $25K, $20K for a 430, and $15K for a 320. That’s bottom. Less than well kept cars (that's the nice way of saying junkers) can be sold for less. List on a W208 CLK55 was $67.5K. This owner has put 26K miles on it. $15K is an absolute STEAL. With normal maintenance, this car will run for hundreds of thousands of miles. If I were selling it, my asking price would be $30K. The only reason I wouldn’t say $35K is - a 2005 CLK55 coupe in pristine condition should go for that. Some may feel, it’s 10 years old, depreciation, no warrantee, yada, yada, yada. For them, brand new Toyota Corollas don’t have any of those problems and the sell all day for $15K. Let ‘em mack a Corolla. ![rolf](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/rofl.gif)
Think about it, Mercedes-Benz and Porsche are two premiere German manufacturers. In 2002, new 911s had a list price 67,900 – same as a CLK55. When I bought my CLK I DID NOT want another Porsche. I don’t want anything powered by an M96 without a warrantee. Aside from the D chunk, RMS, and slipped sleeve issues, they only have moderately cool AC – and my AC has to blow cold. I'm not knocking the 911. I know why people buy them, but it's just not for me. With all those problems, no way is anyone buying a 2002 911 with 26K on the clock for $15K. Try $30K. The ONLY reason CLKs sell for as little as they do is sellers refuse to pick a reasonable price and stick with it. AMG_BENZ, AS SOON as you get a CLK you’re going to feel the same way. You're going to say the price should be A LOT higher.
Should J Will's CLK go cheap? Big Mike? DL? HAAAAAiL NO. And don't even dream about BlackBenzz going cheap. He should charge a fee just to mention his car in a thread.

99CLK320,
"$15K is an absolute STEAL" The thread did not have an asking price and the individual posting the thread has not responded to my pms. I was just quoting NADA.
