Okay, I know we've had a lot of controversial in regards to the claims of HPS superchargers on AMG 55 engines....

But, none the less, up for grabs is a HPS Supercharged 2001 CLK55 on ebay... I know most will probably shoot for a Kleemann system, but hey, I'm just reporting what I found on ebay.... But, I do feel all the mods are worth the asking price...

Oh, and it looks like it has all original Lorinser bodykit... including those over priced wide front fenders... and a pretty kick *** sound system...

its worth a look, even if you don't wanna buy... ending soon though.

how come the engine cover look like that of a 320?

It's actually an E430 engine cover. There is not enough room under the hood to use the AMG cover/airbox.

yea, i was thinking the same... but i think they just took the cover off due to the supercharger hoggin up all the space... but maybe he thought it looked plain with nothing, so they just used a different cover....

but based on the look of the engine, it definitely is a V8

I know who owns that car. Definitely not the fastest CLK but he has put a lot of time and effort into the car.

Yeah i saw that CLK at the NY Auto Show, real work of art! I love how it looks, wish i had the money to drop something like that in my car. Yeah right.

Well, my point was, its the fastest CLK on ebay as of late... well, outside of Timster's Kleemannized CLK55, which was also on ebay a short while ago...

I'm sure your car would be the fastest CLK around these parks for years to come...
