Need help with choice of rims...don't know what to get!!!!
I am looking for some rims for my black clk 430. I want chrome rims that have a lip. I want to powder coat the spokes black and leave the lip chrome but i don't know what rims to get that would look good like that. I don't have an endless budget so i need something affordable in 19 inches. thanks.

If your budget is tight,.... you might not be able to get the ones i'm listing, but they are great rims, listed from favorite first:

Most Mesh style wheels (BBS LM, etc...)
If you are into a Mesh design, my previous set of rims (ADR M-Classics) were pretty fair priced, with tires, it can be had for around $2-2,200... the lip isn't huge, but its nice... you can probably get it black powder coated for a couple hundred more.
I wish I had the money to spend on replacement rims... but I'm saving for my wedding, and I don't think my fiancee would be too crazy about me spending that kind of money.

See if you can get KLEEMANN to post pics of the rims that are on his clk430. I think they look really good. It's a two piece, five spoke rim. The center was removed and powder coated black and the outside ring was left polished aluminum.

Some people on here say that 19's rub the fender a little, is this true? I came across a good deal on a set of 19's but I'm a little worried about any rubbing. I don't want to have to drive around like a little old lady just so there won't be any rubbing.

This is the same manufacturer that makes Lowenhart wheels in Japan. All wheels are custom-ordered with custom fitment. It'll take about 4-6 weeks to get them.

I just put 19's on my car and nothing rubs....
265 in the rear 235 in the front no rubbing even when i make u turns...
what exactly is your budget? if you are looking at 19"s, it's gotta be up there...
HRE makes exactly what you want, big hrome lip, mesh, and powder coat. A bit much thou....

Viktorious: Nice rims, I think they would look dumb on a white car or else I would probably get them for my car. But on a black CLK I think they would look great.

Those Japanese Wheels look good...
Those Work Wheels look pretty good. And with forged construction they could be very durable. Also, the Japanese have perfected a way of making a clean, long lasting polished finish.
I love the variety of designs!
I wonder how much Harris charges for one of these sets of rims in 18" or 19"?
