For the 2000 and up cluster you will need two T5 LEDs and two T10 LEDs, for pre 2000(face lift) four T5 LEDs. Make sure to get the ones with sockets or specifically for the cluster. You can find them on eBay.

Will LEDs work in the HVAC controls as well?

My 2 bulbs in my HVAC control went out and I'm trying to find the OEM bulbs, but they're only sold in packs of 10 and I don't need 10.

Plus they're $24 for a pack of 10 on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mercedes-Whi...5b00a0&vxp=mtr

Would these work?

Thanks

They are also T5s how ever you have to fif proper sockets for them because the oem bulbs are one piece with their sockets. How ever the LED and sockets have to be the right size and only push te LED in a certain length or you will not have proper light up, you will end up with high bright and very dim spots, so the key is to keep them length, angle of the light emitted from the LED and sitting position as close to the oem as possible in order to get an even light spread.

Thanks for the reply.

Sounds like more trouble than it's worth.

I guess I'll just suck it up and get the 10 pack of OEM bulbs.

It it hard to do, it just takes some research and buying different style bulks and sockets and trying different combinations. I changed everything in my car to LED 5 years ago so I'm no longer running any regular bulbs anywhere in the car an I started with the cluster and the climat control but I honestly don't remember where I bought my sockets from or I would punt you to the right direction.

Would these sockets work?

T10: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/4-555-Pinball...820365&vxp=mtr

T5: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/6-T5-3-8-Twis...869d5f&vxp=mtr

And then just buy the desired T10 and T5 LEDs?

I went with the OEM bulbs, I was able to get an eBay seller to sell me just 2 bulbs shipped for $7, instead of the $24 for 10, which I don't need

For the life of me I've been trying to find that part on eBay (the yellow socket ones). Could you please link me to the seller?
