Got my grill back (Black Chrome)

Ok, so I went and picked up my black chrome grill today. Apparently the color was a little different than what I was expecting because the color took to the plastic a little differently than it would have to metal and as a result isn't a deep black, but more of a gunmetal-ish dark grey chrome. At first I wasn't sure about it and the guy at ChromeServices said he would re-do it and get it darker if I wanted it, but once I snapped the piece into the other half of the grill, I ended up really liking the way it looked. I'm posting a couple of pics and when I clean my car tomorrow, I'll install it and post pics on the car (as I don't see the point when the car's as dirty as it is right now :0))

Let me know what you guys think and if you want the shop's info. They can chrome anything in any color (even wood!)

Looks good Josh. Can't wait to see it on your ride. What color do you have again? Can't remember.

It would be nice to find out how long-term performance is of the black chrome. I don't like rock chips on my black grill.

It looks nice but still not sure I'm totally convinced. Maybe it's because your ride is silver. I guess it is probably nice because it matches up nicely with the black mesh grill on your front bumper. Ok, now I'm starting to get convinced.
Regardless, your car looks nice and clean. I think I might learn to like it. BTW, your body kit looks tight! Is that the same one that Bruce has on his? Gosh, I wish I could get that kit for my car.

com'on brian... you gotta pay attention....

josh does have a carlsson RS kit... both he and Bruce have the replica kits... however, josh's differ in the sense that he doesn't have the front plate brackets because he custom molded the RS kit to his stock AMG bumper...

i bet you agree that the black grill would look better on a dark car... right? now, lets convince josh to gimme his grill...
