20mm spacers
Hey guys I just recently took off my 19's and put on some stock s-class 18's with a +44 offset and I want to run 20mm spacers. My question is am I able to get regular hubcentric spacers like the typical ones from h&r like the ones on the right of this picture or do I need spacers like the ones pictured on the left? My guess is that I would get extended lug bolts with the regular 20mm hub centric spacers and that the spacers on the left are for other cars such as Lexus that use lug nuts?
Thanks for your input guys

Yeah you are correct. The ones in the pic on the left are for cars using lug nuts. If you get 20mm spacers just buy the lug bolts with them. I found a set on ebay with spacers and extended bolts for $85 shipped. I have never had a problem with them. They are not H&R but they are made out of t6 aluminum which is what the H&R are made out of if I am not mistaken.

H&R also makes ones that are similar to the ones on the left. I didn't like the stress on a bolt that was so far away from the hub. I think these are called DRA (i forgot). Which screw into the hub and then your wheel screws only into the spacer.
Oh ya, here is a pic of it on my car when i had 20mm spacers.

I have never seen those before Gizzo. So you are saying the benefit to these are less strain on the lug bolt itself? You think having a longer lug bolt can add stress? What would be the difference?

Ohh nice thank you for chiming in gizzo, that's exactly what I was concerned about because I did see the DRA or whatever it's called when I was lookin to buy a set. Did you use the standard style before switching to
Those?
Og: hey how do the spacers work for you? Do you feel any wobbling or instability?
Thanks again for chiming in fellas.

Definetly no problem if the threaded part is not just threaded aluminum but with steel inserts. If you don't trust them, then drill out the aluminum threads and buy longer bolts and save money in the long run.
You'll end up with the same resolution!!
