W208 Rear Interior parts FS or Trade
Hi again - as part of my "mission impossible" complete rebuild of my 1999 CLK 230 Cabriolet I have the following for sale or trade:
1 set complete rear seats
Rear side window cards (both sides)
Complete rear headrest / rollbar assembly with original spacers, all position sensors work, no hydraulic leaks
Rear seat belt brackets / belts
rear sub woofer + cone (some perforated cone interior cover deterioration - can be reused if you want
all front speakers (2 each door) + rear amplifier
All grey leather - seats in amazing original condition, window cards need a cleaning at front seat belt grab area a little, headrests leather covers need a little cleaning.. just in up / down deployment area (not visible)
A I am upgrading complete vehicle to surpass 2002 AMG specs - I need it all.
Also when the new wide body kit arrives will have a set of staggered original 18" AMG (8" front. 9" rear) wheels for sale or trade as well.
As I am in Trinidad - preferably a "whole package " deal - I can get new shipping reinforced boxes here where I work.. buyer pays for shipping...

sorry for the late reply - here are some pics of the seats, roll bar / rear headrest assembly - and half the stereo (rear sub + horn) .. as soon as I can figure out to get in the trunk without the key (gotta figure out how to bypass the position sensors and use the open switch - look at my logic diagram thread) will remove the rear amp and tomorrow the door speakers,,,

Mission Impossible??
Gents - thanks for your replies - as mentioned my pr-facelift CLK does not have the "green button" . yesterday I was clearly seeing all interior latch locations (after popping up the Cabriolet cover.. ) there are small rectangular plastic inserts below all three locking mechanisms, and the outboard two security latched have p lactic covers (apparently covering screws). I'm still open to ideas - if I can't get in through inside the trunk I will take the Fred flinstone approack and drive a flat bladed screwdriver fully into the exterior lock and try to deploy like that... any ideas???

I think the green button came in on the 2002 maybe late 2001 models, there are other ways though.
