Who's watching DVDs?

I see many are installing DVD/nav systems in their cars. Who really watches DVDs in their CLKs?

It's for the passengers...or, when driving alone on a long road trip...in the rest area.

I'll soon have my PS2 installed too.

I've only used it once on a long drive. It kept my passangers occupied.

Whats the advantage to DVD nav vs. CD rom nav? (Besides the cool flicks!) Do get sucked into spending $$$$ on DVDs for maps and such?

With the DVD Nav, you only need one DVD for the entire country. I paid $30 for the map update disc.

Did you say that you got an updated DVD for the Pioneer AVIC-9DVD Navigation unit?

I've noticed that the disk that came with the unit is a bit out of date (it says that there are two restaurants across the street from my apt., but they went out of business 2 years ago!).

How did you order it?
