NEED HELP, PASSENGERS SEAT MOTOR

Results are worth it as tiny tim or shack can ride along.
The long motor threads will give you guidance if the above don't work.

The positioning circuits often keep the motor from running, seat back lift/tilt engages the motor as well.
as a last resort and save all the pain, unplug the fore/aft motor and apply voltage externally. The seat controller under the seat interfaces with the door controller as well adding more studying.
I lost power to the right side door control and the seat failed. (now fixed)

If it turns out to be the motor, and it's going to be at some point, the part number is 208 820 08 42. The MSRP is $170 from the dealer, internet MB dealers sell them for $130, and the smart money contacts AutohausAZ who can get just about anything for less than you'll find at a dealer.
...fuses above are in the trunk.
Change the motor while it still works and you can adjust to remove the seat. If motor fails, it's not an easy fix!
When someone lifts the lever to climb in the back and the seat moves all the way forward, AND THEN THE MOTOR GOES OUT – IN THE ALL THE WAY FORWARD POSITION, yeah, that’s not pretty. More like “world class ugly” - just ask the OP. And people on the forum occasionally are not sympathetic. They post stuff like, "So when you replaced the seat motor fuse a dozen times, you didn't think that was an indication that something was not functioning properly? And now, with the seat practically sitting in the glove box, and smoke coming from the contraption, NOW you find the motor is hard to get to?" The guy with the busted seat motor is in no mood for humor, the unsympathetic replies get worse, and eventually the mod locks the thread.
Let me just cut to the chase and say "in before the lock"
