What do you think of these seats?
I'm contemplating chaning my stock seats (with air adjustment) to these in order to gain more support during cornering. I've been in them on the track, and it was amazing how I could stay in one place while the car was pulling 4-wheel drifts around a turn. They are made of Alcantara (Italian synthetic suede that lasts much longer than original suede) and are supposed to be more comfortable than stock. Any thoughts?
Here is what Sparco says about them:
The most advanced adjustable sport seats ever manufactured by Sparco. Anatomic, extremely comfortable and in a refined and modern design. Back rest can be reclined to the millimeter, but features the exclusive QTS Technology (quick tilt system) technology for rapid return ot the upright position. It also features a revolutionary contoured injection molded memory foam. Touring car inspired g-force absorbing side bolsters. Perforated abrasion resistant inserts, and a micro-fine recline mechanism. This seat also features a lumbar adjustment system to ensure proper ergonomics and ultimate comfort while driving at all times.
No other seat in the world offers the comfort and performance of the Milano.

Does that mean you like or dislike them? While the design is simliar, in that they are both a sport seat, I believe that the RX8 seats are made of cloth, and do not come close in comfort to this one.

The Alcantara version of the Milano are $1249 each. The cloth Milano seats are $889 each. With either set, you should add approximately $100 per seat. Sparco does not make any mounting kits for the car, so if there is enough interest, we will custom make the mounting brackets for the CLK.

Here is a picture of all the possible color combinations. Only the first two (top left) are Alcantara. I'm contemplating putting red inserts across the center of mine, and then completing the car with the Kleemann Interior.

Any progress here? Will you still be able to use your power fore/aft adjustments? Will they fit in a W124? What kind of warrentee do they carry? Are they better or as good as Recaro?

Mach- I have Recaro's sport seats in my CLK. They are a lot more comfortable than stock. I've sat in the Sparco seat you have pictured and they are also really nice seats. You will like them once there in.
You can get a pair of Sparco Milano's for $1550 w/shipping.

2SYKbenz's - What model of Recaro do you have in your benz? Do the Recaro adapters bolt to the stock seat rails (so that you'd still have power controls to tilt and move fore/aft)? Any pics? Any specific reason why you went with Recaro instead of Sparco or Corbeau?

I sat in the different seats and I liked the recaro sport seats the best. My driver seat has a vent and heat setting, but the passenger seat does not. They both have a pneumatic lumbar adjust that works amazingly well. To move the seat fore/aft you have to do it manually, but once you have it in place how often do you adjust that? I'm not sure if there is a specific brakcet made by recaro for these seats in the W208.
Speedwaremotorsports.com fabricated the brackets for me. I also got my seats for my CLK and C-coupe there. Call Dan or Shaun at 425-869-5680. It is a really good shop in Washington. http://speedwaremotorsports.com/seat/recaro.asp
I have Recaro limited SRD's for my C-coupe. They are not as nice as the Sport seats but they have bigger bolsters and hold you in tighter plus the limited color setup is nice. For normal sporty driving I recommend the Sport seats over the SRD's. The SRD's also have very little padding behind your head, but they are both really nice seats.
Like I said I've sat in the Sparco Milano's too. They are all really nice seats and I think you will find aftermarket seats more comfortable and better looking than stock. The only thing I miss is the seat sliding forward to get something out of the back.
