Here is the pic... and it blew up my mailbox.... hehehe

I think it looks quite nice.... but, it might be a little too small for my taste... the one from Lorinser seems to be a better fit for our trunk since the trunk's edge isn't very sharp (as opposed to the bimmer trunks)

It look very nice... so where did you purchased the lip from?

Ah... can someone actually tell me how wide our trunk is? I currently do not have my car with me( in body shop).. and I come across a seller on ebay which sell something like that,. but he said he needed the length of the trunk

thanks

Yes it is a M5 Decklip wing which I modified to fit our CLK. You have to see it in real life. It looks very sporty. especially with the spoiler package on the CLK430, the package looks more completed. Thanks for the posting the the pictures mmgrad. Also thanks for you're opinion guys.

May I ask what kind of mod you did to the lip.. like did you sand it to shorten the length or any thing

thanks

First off, I heated the wing so it is easy to bend along the countour of the trunk. It took a couple of try's to get the shaped I wanted. Next I sand and fudge the edges. I also sand the bottom end for glue contacted.

I then made sure the wing lip base is tangent to the trunk. This was the difficult part. The reason, as long as the base of the wing lip countour along the edge of the trunk, it make the wing look like it came with the car. Not an after thought.

It was a fun hobby.......especially when It turn out well.

That looks really cool. I might want to give that a try - I think a spoiler any bigger would mess up the clk's lines
