2002 CLK 55 Electrical Issues

I have 105,000 miles on my CLK and for the past year of so the dashboard info area has been flickering, the other day while it was flickering the radio was cutting in and out and for about 10 minutes or so I could not open my windows, seats or side view mirrors. Not sure if this is all related to a a serious electrical issue or if as I have been reading the Pixels on the dash will eventually burn out, but the windows, seats and side view mirrors intermittent stop work is concerning. Any thoughts out there?

Pull the cluster and look for loose wires and look under the seats for similar things!

Check if you have a loose ground.

I also heard a combination relay can cause this as well as a faulty blinker switch behind the steering wheel.

Does anything change when you flash your high beams and blinkers a few times???

I have not tried to flash my high beams and blinkers - I'll try it tonight. Where is the combination relay located?

Not looking forward to pulling the cluster... but will do if necessary.

Its somewhere underneath the fuse box.

Have you done any work on the engine. Check your ground wire that goes from the power steering pump to the frame?

Have you checked voltage at the battery?
