Steve K Rocks!!!

I just got my '99 430 upgraded with Command, Multifunctional Burlwood steering wheel, AMG instrument cluster, and Nokia 6310i phone integration...

It's AWESOME!

Steve was unbelievable knowledgable, and the entire install took just a few hours. Everything works perfectly... he even has the Mercedes Diagnose Multiplexer (SP?) (proprietary and very expensive tool) to reprogram the vehicle after the hardware is installed.

I know many of you have already worked with him... but for any who haven't... this guy is THE MAN.

(Is it still not possible to post pics here? I'd like to post before and after pics).

While cruising down the road listening to my Command Chick with an English accent croon directions to me, I receive a call that is id'd on my multi-functional display. While picking up the call, I suddenly realize I am smiling like the guy on the Enzyte commercials.

I told my wife to meet me at the door tonight with a drink complete with little parasol.

COMMAND

Steve,

You and I have communciated in the past about installing COMMAND on my '99 CLK430. Do you have plans to come to NYC anytime soon?

I'll email you via hotmail as well. I'd really like to get this done ASAP (esp after reading all of the rave reviews!).

Thanks.

If you go to the Audio & Electronics forum on this site you'll see a thread about a group install effort being put together for the East Coast... there is already a large group forming to facilitate a trip for Steve out there.

Good luck... it is well worth it!

Steve, if you're near the computer...

how about dropping me another mail? Customer wants to go forward on the steering wheel we talked about a couple days ago. Don't know if you're still in the US or headed back, thanks.

Steve's standard price is $1,500 USD for Command install.

See here:

FYI... I think Steve said he'd be in the states for a couple more weeks (Bay Area, then So Cal, then Dallas, I think).

Yes. Price includes Comand unit (probably euro spec) and wiring harness. Some models may be slightly more or less.

TV Tuner is about another grand (USD) including mounting bracket, powered antenna, wiring harness, etc. If requested, Steve will program the unit to allow TV while in motion.

As a very satisfied customer, I highly recommend Steve's work and his products.

I would suggest you send him an email at s_krabbenborg@hotmail.com to discuss specific details on pricing. I believe he prefers to handle each customer's request individually.

Steering wheel is awesome.. integrated with instrument cluster. The phone integration really caps it off though... very slick and easy to use with the MF wheel.

I am going to ECHO the remarks....

Steve just hooked up my AMG instrument cluster panel with burl wood steering wheel.

Awesome work, thanks Steve and thanks for getting those mirrors installed for me.

Anyone that knows Steve will tell you, his prices are good and often he does a couple of extra things if you are REALLY nice to him and work with him.

Cant wait for the Nav the next time. My 99 Cabrio is looking more and more like the way I want it...

Burlwood wheel looks sweet, huh? Really dressed up the interior of my '99 430.
