Have you considered contacting your insurance agent to ask? My guess would be that insurance rates would be higher for the 430.

Allied Insurance

Geico was $400 per year more expensive.
I've tried everyone (Geico, Allstate, State Farm, etc...), and Allied has always been cheaper than everyone else.

Give them a shot.

I use AAA insurance, and with the multi-policy discount (home owners), grouped with my annual dividend (they give you money back for renewing each year... last year's dividend was about $400, its a percent of your premiums)

My premiums are about $3,500 a year, before dividends....

My record... no speeding tickets (on record), but I have 2 at-fault accidents... one of which, I totalled the car.

Age: 26
Sex: Male

But, given my situation, I've shopped around quite a bit, and AAA is still cheaper than all those I've shopped, including out of state companies.

And, can you believe it, Progressive wanted like $6,000 to insure me... ouch!!!!

I have State Farm on a 2002 430 and it's $1,950.00 a year, with no accidents or tickets--so far I have gotten out of all of them. I'm a 37 year old male and married.
Hope this helps.

Looks like I may need to look @ Allstate. I'm in Alabama, not THAT MUCH different from most of Texas. I have my wife's BMW and numerous other policies with State Farm.

$1200 per year for full coverage on:

2001 CLK 55
2003 Ford F-150
1994 Thunderbird

I use 21st Century and found they are 1/2 of most. Geico was a rip off. Good service, but too expensive. I'm a 39 yr single male. Good luck.

$1200 per year for full coverage on:
Full Coverage does NOT cover everything. Make sure you also get coverage for:

Uninsured/Under Insured (in case the other party has minimum liability. Most states required 15/30).

Medical Payment (this is a very cheap coverage for automobile related accident for you, your family members and your passengers, including ambulance service and funeral expense. It covers you if when riding in another person's vehicle. It also cover if you got ran over by a vehicle when crossing the street).

Car Rental and Road Side Assistance are also optional.

I saw too many policies where the policy holders believed that they have FULL COVERAGE and they were shocked when I told them that they only have Liability, Comprehensive and Collision

Here is a list of complete coverage:
Liability, Comprehensive, Collision, Uninsured/Under Insured, Medical Payment, Car Rental, and Road Side Assistance.

Disclaimer: I am not an insurance agent. Please contact your insurance agent for all questions.

Call agents in your local area. Here on the right coast, NYC Metro area, I pay near 4k a year, no points, no accidents and I am 30. So, check with your local agents. It is different in every state.

I pay about $1200 per year through Farmers, I have talked to Nationwide Insurance though and their premiums were a little cheaper

Ed

geico

mine is $936 full coverage w/ Geico. No tickets/accidents.. If your record is spotless, Geico is the way to go. I have researched it pretty well..

26 years old, 1 ticket on my record, no multi or home discounts: $1488/yr with Allstate, that includes 2X the minimum legal limits as well...you could almost say I am overinsured.

Premiums is $1150 per year with Mercury in Orange County, CA.
-$500 Deductible for Comp and Collision
- 25-30 Years old, single Male, clean driving record (no accidents, no Tickets).

However, this does not included Unisured motorists, Rental Car or maximum coverage beyond the CA state requirements.

For Comparison AAA wants $1300 for the same coverage or $150 more per year. I may switch as AAA has a reputation for better cusomter service.

Why don't you increase your deductible's to1000, that will kick down the price. And if your driving these cars, you should be able to afford 1k, if you smash it up.
