there are not much fotos about it. and since i installed mine and it looks sick some quick pictures. of a kenwood/jvc ddx4016bt 2din touchscreen radio installed. (also got a sub in the back 300W rms, 800w max and replaced the stock woofer with 2 16.5cm 65w rms focal coax speakers runing on my amp in the trunk) from speaker i disconected the 13cm ones. and replace the 16.5cm ones with focal (same serie as the back 165 iss) 2 way speakers with a adapter for the speaker in the door and the tweeters fit in perfect running from the radio to lazy to get a amp in the front) but i dont have steering wheels control for radio that is just dumb expensive..

Thanks for the reply. I don't how to fix it. You don't know how to fix it. An independent Mercedes mechanic doesn't know how to fix it. Perhaps someone who knows will eventually instruct us.

Can't say about a W208, but on a W209 CLK the wood detaches from the ashtray door lid. I'm betting the W208 does too. But if you have not removed it and taken it apart, you should. The mechanism is not that complicated. It just be something blocking it. You have nothing to lose.
