How am I supposed to go back to my c320 coupe?
I just test drove a 2001 Obsidian black CLK 430 with 66000 Km. Never winter driven. Perfect condition. All I can say is wow! The sound of the Mercedes V8 is intoxicating, and the feeling when you kick the accelerator down is so addicting. It also handled a lot better than I thought for such a big car! How the hell am I supposed to go back to my c320 coupe with 215hp? The salesman said he'll contact me on monday and "see what they might be able to do". Hmmm!

Well, I'm very tempted to get it. I'll just have to wait until Monday and see how much of a hit I'd take getting into it and out of my current c320 coupe.

1. For the 500, just get a chip and pullies
2. For the 55, get a kompressor, or: chip+cams+headers+pullies+intake
3. For the 600 ....
you could try and mix all from option 2

I'm still waiting for them to get back to me.(They do that sort of thing). I don't want to call and come across as too anxious. I am in love with the car however. I'm assuming it's starmarked(2001/66,000km). Again, it depends on what #s they come up with. I would probably keep the 430 for 3 years if I choose to do this.

hope you got the CLK... its a great little car... a classic in the making. I don't think i'll ever sell that car... I'll probably run it into the ground before I ever decide to do anything with it.... Great design in my opinion...
the V8 in quite intoxicating... i test drove both before i bought (320 & 430), and I knew I had to get the V8... i waited a little longer, saved a little more $$$, and snagged a V8... never looked back
